The construction crew will be on vacation during the first two weeks of July, so things will be slow until they return.

It’s finishing time! After a great Saturday’s work and home dedication, we’ll work tomorrow at finishing the Coffey house in Hope Estates. See you at 8:30 am.

This Saturday, construction work starts at 8:30 am continues on the Coffey house, interior as well as exterior work including cabinet and trim work.
We’ll be dedicating the Coffey house as well. At noon on Saturday. you’ll be most welcome to join the dedication and lunch to follow that’ll be prepared by the Coffey family for us.

We need your help! We’re still working on the interior of the Coffey house in Hope Estates. Work starts tomorrow at 8:30 am. Don’t’ hesitate to come for part of the day if you have other commitments.
We’ll also work on Saturday, May 31st, the day of the home dedications; stopping to celebrate at noon with the two families and their guests, then continuing to work in the afternoon.

This event includes an informal, dutch, get together at Berea Coffee and Tea Friday evening on June 6 from 8:00 till 10:00, a chance to work with and get to know like-minded singles on the jobsite Saturday from 8:30 till 4:30. Dinner that night will be a cookout and party.

Late Breaking News
We have just received some exciting news from WEKU, the classical music and NPR station operated by EKU and from 84 Lumber’s Richmond Store. During WEKU’s spring on-air fund-raiser, 84 Lumber will donate one piece of framing material to HFHMC for every caller who makes a donation to support the radio station.
Our goal is 800 pieces of framing material which will be enough to completely frame 2 new homes!
Tune in to WEKU, 88.9 on your FM dial, from April 4th thru April 11th, and help us celebrate this three way partnership between WEKU, 84 Lumber and Habitat for Humanity of Madison and
Wednesday Work Crew,
We’ll be working at the warehouse at the corner of 3rd and Broadway – usual time. You’ll be building a tool shed and pre-fab walls - getting the warehouse ready( for college groups work who’ll be coming in all March and 1st week of April.
